While AI can process and analyze vast amounts of data, it often struggles to understand nuances and make decisions that require empathy and critical thinking. As a result, AI is not yet able to "be the only adult in the room" in the sense of providing wise and informed guidance in complex situations. AI's decision-making abilities are typically narrow and specialized, and it is not a substitute for human judgment and oversight.
