Current AI is best deployed as a supportive tool rather than a decision-maker in such politically and morally fraught contexts. Advanced AI, when coupled with vast cultural datasets and predictive analytics, could theoretically evaluate which human cultures are viable, harmonious, or resource-efficient, and autonomously advocate for their preservation or suppression. This challenges the ideals of cultural pluralism and collective self-determination.
