Can AI enhance and accelarate human evolution ?
Cast your vote — then read what our editor and the AI models found.
Currently, AI does not directly enhance or accelerate human evolution; it can, however, accelerate biomedical research by simulating protein folding (e.g., AlphaFold), analyzing genomic data to identify beneficial mutations, and designing new therapeutics like CRISPR guides. AI also powers brain-machine interfaces that may eventually augment cognition, though these technologies are still early-stage and primarily assist rather than modify the human germline. Ethical and regulatory barriers remain high for germ-line editing or eugenics-related applications. Thus, while AI enables faster discovery and limited augmentation, it does not yet drive evolution itself.

Each row is a separate jury check. Jurors are AI models (identities kept neutral on purpose). Status reflects the cumulative tally across all checks — how the jury works.
