However, they are not deployed in real combat and remain limited by ethical, legal, and reliability constraints. Human pilots retain final authority, and the technology is primarily used for training simulations and testing autonomous behaviors in restricted environments. Full autonomy in live combat scenarios remains unproven and controversial.
