De jury was het erover eens dat de hedendaagse AI bescheiden een moodboard van muzikale cues kan samenstellen, maar faalde toen gevraagd werd om het delicate emotionele verloop te weven dat een menselijke componist instinctief in elke scène verwerkt. De enige “ja”-jurylid wees naar praktijkvoorbeelden waarin AI-scores soepel in indie-trailers waren ingepast, terwijl beide “bijna”-stemmen banale hoogtepunten en de af en toe ongemakkelijke vallei van instrumentatie betreurden.
