Background
Current AI systems can translate poetry to some extent, but preserving rhyme and meter remains a challenging task. While machine translation has improved significantly in recent years, the nuances of poetic language, such as rhythm, meter, and rhyme, are still difficult to replicate in translated texts. Researchers have explored various approaches, including the use of neural networks and machine learning algorithms, to improve the translation of poetic texts while maintaining their artistic qualities.
