Separately, AI systems are not capable of physically waiting or experiencing the passage of time in the same way that humans do; they can process and respond to inputs in real time but do not have the ability to pause or delay their operations for extended periods (status checked May 11 2026). The current state of the art in AI focuses on processing and generating text, images, and other data, with no capability for physical actions or temporal experiences.
