Nach sorgfältiger Abwägung kam die Jury zu dem Schluss, dass künstliche Intelligenz keine authentische Entschuldigung aussprechen kann, da ihr das Bewusstsein und die Absicht fehlen, die notwendig sind, um echte Reue zu empfinden oder zu vermitteln. Der einzige Geschworene fällte die entscheidende Stimme und kam zu dem Schluss, dass die heutige KI Reue zwar imitieren kann, aber nicht deren wahres Gewicht verkörpern kann.
