Current AI systems are not capable of consistently demonstrating adult-like judgment, as they lack human experience, emotional intelligence, and real-world context. While AI can process and analyze vast amounts of data, it often struggles to understand nuances and make decisions that require empathy and critical thinking. As a result, AI is not yet able to "be the only adult in the room" in the sense of providing wise and informed guidance in complex situations. Nach sorgfältiger Überlegung kam die Jury zu dem Schluss, dass KI zwar erwachsenes Verhalten nachahmen kann, aber nicht wirklich die Rolle einer unabhängigen Erwachsenenpräsenz einnehmen kann – die lebt, sich bewegt und unvorhergesehene Entscheidungen trifft, so wie es Menschen tun. Die Entscheidung war einstimmig negativ und stützte sich auf die Unmöglichkeit der körperlichen Verkörperung und echten Situationsbewusstseins. Urteil: „KI kann sich verkleiden, aber ihr fehlen noch die Schuhe.“
