After careful consideration the jury concluded that while artificial empathy may mimic concern it cannot shoulder the full weight of human vulnerability in a room of strangers. They ruled that for now, AI might pass the Turing test but it still fails the compassion exam. Holding the gavel high, the judge delivers: “AI can listen, but it has yet to learn how to hold.”
